ABOUT HITHER
Going out, without the small print
Hither is a weekly programme for going out in London. Every night on it is picked by someone who goes, every price includes every fee, and the ticket works at the door even with no signal.
Why it exists
Finding something good to do on a Thursday should not take an evening. Neither should finding out, three screens into checkout, that a £20 ticket costs £26.
So Hither shows fewer things, better. A short programme each week, the full price from the first card you see, and a pass that just works when you get there.
What we promise
- The price you see is the price you pay. No fees added at checkout, ever.
- Tickets never resell for more than face value. Spare tickets go to the waitlist first.
- If a night is called off, the money goes back by itself. You never have to ask.
- Hosts are paid the Monday after their night, and can see where every pound went.
Who picks

Ines Duarte and a handful of people who go out a lot pick the Thursday list: six nights, sent at 08:00 to 41,200 readers. Nobody pays to be on it.
Everything else on Hither is listed by the people who put the nights on, from venues and promoters to a supper club with one long table.

A note on this site
Hither is a product concept, designed and built by Be Confidency to show how going out could work with nothing hidden. The events, people and prices are made up, no real payments are taken, and everything you do here stays in your browser.
